Poo runs downhill

Glen returned with the digosaur this morning to make a big hole for the septic tanks. Fortunately Mike & Mike had arrived before and were safely parked by the house, hard at work cleaning up grout and finishing the last few little bits of tile work.

We had a visit from Ken to finish the setup of the heating system as well. Although it will be next week before the heat-pump can be commissioned, at least we now have active heating for the whole house because of the electric backup coils. This will make things much more comfortable for working. The system is fairly sophisticated, allowing for timer control, intermittent airflow to even out the heat around the house, emergency heating boost, cooling in the summer and so on. It’s pretty much silent in operation too, which is nice.
